Clapton Plays For Clinton Foundation

A cathedral is an unlikely place to find major Rock stars performing, but a charitably generous bunch willing to put up big bucks for the William Jefferson Clinton Foundation was treated to sets from Eric Clapton and Jon Bon Jovi Saturday (10/23) in a New York City house of worship.  The event, staged at the of the Church of Saint John The Devine in Manhattan, raised money to support the former President's foundation provide assistance to governments, groups and individuals working to address poverty, health problems and environmental issues. 
EC has added two additional dates to the Royal Albert Hall spring 2011 concerts that were recently announced.  Clapton, Steve Winwood, Chris Stainton, Steve Gadd and Willie Weeks will play the historic London concert hall venue May 26, 27,29 & 30.  Eric will do six solo sets at the historic concert hall May 17, 18, 20, 21, 23 and 24.
