A London woman's brush with fame saved her from injury Thursday (10/14) when Paul McCartney pushed her out of the path of an oncoming bicycle courier.  McCartney, who described the two wheeling messenger as '...careening toward us', took hold of the woman about to get mowed down by the biker and '...threw her out of the way', according to a report in The Sun.  Macca said the biker never slowed or turned, but flew straight through between them, directing a barrage of of profanity at the two of them.  McCartney retaliated with some choice words of his own.  He thinks the cyclist was going too fast to recognize that he'd nearly squished a former Beatle.
