The Billboard Touring Awards for 2010 will be given out during a ceremony November 4 in New York. Rush has already a locked up the Legend Of Live honor (story), but three perennial top drawing acts are in contention for the top awards of the evening - the Top Tour and the Top Draw bragging rights. U2, AC/DC and Bon Jovi will vie for the honors, which are based largely on box office results for tours over the course of a year beginning Oct. 1 and ending Sept. 30. U2 would have been an easy lock had its 360o tour schedule not been disrupted by Bono's back injury. The AC/DC Black Ice and Bon Jovi Circle tours have both been strong draws - and much less expensive to stage than the U2 tour featuring the enormous and enormously expensive Claw (story).
