Plans for some Aerosmith members may be up in the air after American Idol recruited Steven Tyler to become a judge, but Brad Whitford knows what he'll be doing.  The Experience Hendrix tour has confirmed that Whiftord is one of the featured guitarists during the US leg of the tour that starts October 26 in Pittsburgh.  Whitford joins guitarists Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Steve Vai, Jonny Lang, Band of Gypsys bass player Billy Cox and others in the latest edition of the tour celebrating the legacy of the guitar legend.  Whitford, a participant in earlier Experience Hendrix tours (story), calls Hendrix someone who, 'Since the first time I heard him, and right up until today, has been an important influence on me'.
