Dickey Betts decided that living out of a suitcase for close to 40 years was long enough.  Shortly after playing a New York City date on his 66th birthday last December, the former Allman Brothers Band guitarist announced it was time to see what life was like living out of a bureau.  Apparently 4 months was long enough.  Betts announced a trio of Northeast dates with Great Southern in July. With tour dates booked that far north it's a safe bet Betts will play a lot more dates before he unpacks again.
