Terra Firma, the firm that controls EMI, told CNN Sunday (2/21) that the label does not plan to sell Abbey Road Studios. The statement contradicts earlier reports that the studio could be put on the block. (story).  As for the idea that anything is for sale so long as the offer is high enough, the label says it rejected a $46 million bid to buy the fabled studios last year.  A spokesperson for Andrew Llyod Webber said Friday that the composer has a keen interest in buying the landmark building if Terra Firma or EMI end up selling it.
