Winnipeg Bombers Drop One on Aerosmith

The Winnipeg Bombers have initiated a suit against Aerosmith in a effort to get back the nearly $100,000 the team says it is out over a Aug. '09 concert the band cancelled.  The football club's attorney told the Winnipeg Free Press that it invested more than $97k on site preparations and staffing for the concert.  The only public appearances Aerosmith has made since the tour last summer was cancelled were two concerts in Hawaii in October.  Those shows were done to settle a class action suit brought against the band over the cancellation of concerts on the island in 2007.
