Who Take On Quadrophenia

The only firm date for the Who, other than the controversial half time set during the Super Bowl Sunday (2/7) (story), is a live recreation of Quadrophenia March 30 at Royal Albert Hall in London.  The epic performance comes on the final night of a ten night, multi-band series of shows marking the 10th anniversary of the Teenage Cancer Trust, a charity Roger Daltrey has close ties to.  The 1973 double album that chronicles the social turmoil as the cultural revolution of the 60's gained momentum in the UK remains a defining body of work.  Tour plans are being considered, but are likely to involve few dates to limit further hearing damage to Pete Townshend.  The guitarist describes his hearing as rather seriously impaired.
