Live Nation has not confirmed a report in the Boston Herald that the Billy Joel Elton John Face 2 Face tour will take over Fenway Park on July 24.  The promoter has not denied it either, apparently.  If the date firms, the piano men will join Bruce Springsteen, Jimmy Buffett, the Rolling Stones, the Dave Matthews Band, the Police, Phish, Paul McCartney and Neil Diamond as artists that have played the historic ball park.  The Red Sox will be in the middle of a west coast road trip that weekend, playing the Mariners on that date in Seattle.
