Ringo Starr, Carlos Santana, Alice Cooper and Mick Fleetwood are in the ranks of presenters of Grammy awards Sunday (1/31) in LA. Jeff Beck is part of a tribute to the late Les Paul, and Jon Bon Jovi takes a page from the play book of fellow Jersey Rocker Bruce Springsteen by letting the audience decide what song his band should do. The Dave Matthews Band and Elton John will also perform. Grammy contenders include Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Eric Clapton & Steve Winwood, Neil Young, Jeff Beck, Judas Priest, U2, Metallica, Steve Vai, John Fogerty and the Dave Matthews Band. Neil Young, who has never won a Grammy of his own, gets honored Friday (1/29) as MusiCares Person of the Year during an event at the LA Convention Center. (story)
