Fans arriving at the New Orleans Superdome early for the Saints exhilarating win over the Vikings Saturday (1/23) got an extra thrill when lifelong Saints fan Jimmy Buffett joined a local band on a flatbed near one of the parking lots for a couple of songs. Buffett, arriving for the game with the producer of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, spotted someone wearing one of those wacky visors with a wig implanted in it, a favorite with Saints fans because anyone wearing one resembles coach Sean Payton. Jimmy, scheduled to rendevous with Payton after the game for a celebration if the Saints won, decided he had to have one. The owner offered to give it up if Buffett sang a song with the Creole String Beans. He obliged, jumping onto the flatbed and doing two - Sea Cruise and Margaritaville. See it here.
