Amid ongoing reports that Aerosmith is sticking to the plan to at least temporarily replace Steven Tyler, Tyler, or someone that does a convincing impersonation of him, is doing pop-up performances in peculiar places in the part of the country the Aerosmith lead singer has reportedly been undergoing rehab.  Tyler, or his body and voice double, appeared at a karaoke night in Palm Desert, CA last week. (story)  That was followed by an even more bizarre incident over the weekend.  According to ContactMusic.com and TMZ, a person believed to be Tyler gulped gas from a helium tank used to fill balloons and sang acapella versions of Dude Looks Like A Lady and I Don't Want To Miss A Thing at a Home Depot store in southern California.  If it is Tyler and this is his comeback strategy, a second opinion might be a good thing.
