Eric Clapton will participate in a one-off reunion of the Plastic Ono Band on Feb. 16 at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York. The session that brings together Yoko, Klaus Voorman and EC will reportedly also include a number of artists not associated with the original band, including Paul Simon. Clapton appeared with the Plastic Ono Band in the fall of 1969 in Toronto, and again at a December concert in London. Songs from those concerts were included on Live Peace in Toronto and Sometime In New York City. Eric also performed with John Lennon, Yoko Ono and Keith Richards as the Dirty Mac during the fabled Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus in 1968, with Yoko writhing in a sack through a portion of the set.
