The Big House, the Macon, Georgia house Allman Brothers Band members called home during the group's rise to national prominence in the early 70's, has been undergoing a restoration and conversion over the last several months that will turn it into a museum.  That large scale project is in the home stretch now.  Volunteers were on the site in recent days doing landscaping.  The Southern Rock landmark will house a collection of various artifacts from the band.  An opening date is yet to be announced, but a Grand Opening is reportedly being planned for February.
