Norton Buffalo was always there for Steve Miller and the Doobie Brothers.  The renowned harmonica player appeared on nearly a dozen Steve Miller albums and even more tours, and played on several Doobie Brothers releases.  Miller, the Doobies and a number of other artists Buffalo enjoyed and recorded with will be at the Fox Theater in Oakland January 23 to honor the harp player, who died recently of cancer (story).  The concert, which will benefit the Buffalo family, will also include Bonnie Raitt, George Thorogood, Huey Lewis and blues great Charlie Musselwhite.
