Touring musicians get used to spending more time on the road than at home.  But being in two bands has made time at home way too scarce for Derek Trucks.  Compounding matters, his wife, musician Susan Tedeschi, logs a lot of road hours herself. The couple gets a break in 2010 when The Allman Brothers and the Derek Trucks Band both scale things back.  The DTB will take the year off, in fact. Fans will get a new live CD to tide them over pulled together from the tour done in support of the 2009 album Already Free.  Trucks and Tedeschi will continue to play - but close to home in a new group the couple is putting together.
