Metallica is amping up awareness of Record Store day on April 16 by streaming a segment of a 2003 concert in Paris.  The 9th anniversary Ambassadors of the day celebrating independent, local music stores released a statement reading, 'Record stores are where our musical education began and was subsequently nurtured and shaped, playing a huge role in who we ar as musicians today.  It's important for us to support this cause and encourage music fans everywhere to experience the exciting, inspiring, nostalgic journey through the world of music stores that we were fortunate enough to explore in our formative years.'
