The surviving members of the Grateful Dead will return to the last venue Jerry Garcia played with them before his death in 1995 for a series of concerts Bob Weir vows will be the last time he, Phil Lesh, Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann will play together. Phish's Trey Anastasio will join the band for the July 3,4 & 5 concerts at Soldier Field in Chicago, as will Bruce Hornsby, a Dead member during the latter years of Garcia's tenure with the band. They have also enlisted Jeff Chimenti from Bob Weir's RatDog ranks. We don't know whether these dates mean the previously reported concerts planned with a holographic Garcia are no longer in the mix (if those were for real to begin with).
