The train wreck that was Aerosmith in the late '70's and early '80's gets laid pretty bare in Joe Perry's new autobiography. Things had gotten so bad for the guitarist after leaving the group that he resorted to selling his favorite guitar, a 1959 Les Paul, so he could scrape together some money for Christmas. Many years later, the guitar came back to him after Perry found out that it had found its way into the collection of guitars owned by another guitar great. Perry shared the story with Conan on Monday (10/20).
