Clapton books Royal Albert Hall spring series

Eric Clapton has hinted that he may stop performing live after he turns 70.  Fans can be assured that at least four concerts will take place after EC reaches that milestone.  The guitar legend has booked a series of concerts for Royal Albert Hall in May (14, 15, 17 & 18).  The concerts take place on the 50th anniversary of Clapton's first performances at the fabled venue.  He made his debut at the historic oval shaped music hall on December 7, 1964 while a member of the Yardbirds when the group played for the BBC's Top Beat Show.
