A 'U2 project' has been confirmed as the reason a bridge and some roads in Dublin were shut down Sunday (8/24). A confidentiality agreement prevented officials from revealing the basis of the closures, wihich took place despite increased traffic on the roads due to an Irish railways strike. Nonetheless, word did leak and crowds of U2 fans stood in a soaking rain in hopes of seeing the band. Filming was reportedly done by Pull The Trigger, the company that produced the video for Sweetest Thing. The shoot last weekend was apparently being done for a new song titled Summer Nights. No word on whether any band members were on the scene.
