Pink Floyd's weekly stream of a quarantine concert has revisited a couple of great ones in its first sessions, but this week's is one not as widely known as Pulse and The Pompeii concert casts. It was filmed during the group's 1970 tour by KQED radio in San Francisco and includes renditions of some real gems from Ummagumma, A Saucerful of Secrets and the about to be released at the time Atom Heart Mother.

Nick Mason's Saucerful Of Secrets did the first of four London area concerts Sunday (5/20). The performances of material from Pink Floyd's first couple of albums are appropriately low tech from a production standpoint, as you can see in this video of Fearless.
One of Pink Floyd's most unique concerts took place amid the ancient ruins of Pompeii 46 years ago. In 2016, David Gilmour revisited the setting and did a spectacular performance that recently was released as a DVD. Gilmour recently sat down with Mary Beard in a BBC studio to discuss the original and more recent concerts.
Fans at the Sunday night (7/23) Roger Waters concert at the United Center in Chicago got the added benefit of seeing Pearl Jam front man Eddie Vedder join Waters on Comfortably Numb and Us + Them. It was Vedder's first appearance with Waters since the pair teamed-up during the Hurricane Sandy benefit at Madison Square Garden 12-12-2012.

About 1,000 lucky fans got invited to sit in on the final rehearsal for Roger Waters and his band before the group embarks on its North American tour. The setting was the Meadowlands IZOD Arena in East Rutherford, NJ on Sunday (5/21) and included the full array of production elements fans attending the tour opener will see Friday in Kansas City. In adddition to a slew of Pink Floyd classics, Waters will showcase songs from his new solo album Is This The Life We Really Want on the tour.
An audience in Poland got the unexpected treat of hearing David Gilmour do One Of These Days for the first time solo on Saturday (6/25). Chuck Leavell of the Allman Brothers Band, a regular on Rolling Stones tours, is playing keyboards in David's band on this tour.
The annual Newport Folk Festival attracts an eclectic group of performers. This year's lineup included My Morning Jacket and Amy Helm, the daughter of the late Band drummer Levon Helm, who has just released her solo debut. Both groups had guest appearances by Pink FLoyd's Roger Waters during their Friday (7/27) sets.
