KISS row earns band first Rolling Stone cover

The absured internal scrum over which members and former members of KISS should perform when the band is inducted into the Rock Hall Of Fame has earned the band its first Rolling Stone magazine cover - and there are probably already compaints flying within the group over the fact the mag opted to use a 1975 photo.  According to RS, Gene Simmons and Paul Stanlley wanted the current lineup to play but invited Ace Frehley and Peter Criss to jam with them.  The RSVP from Criss... 'How can you put me in the Hall Of Fame and then tell me to go sit in the corner while another guy puts on my makeup and plays?'.  He added that having Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer trump him and Frehley in the performing lineup was '...an injustice. To the fans, too'
