Fans attending Allman Brothers Band shows at the Beacon Theatre over the weekend were disappointed to find founding member Gregg Allman not in the lineup (story). The prospect of letting down more fans attending the final four dates during the band's annual residency at the Manhattan venue has prompted the band to announce that it is calling off those dates in hopes of being able to reschedule them after Gregg recovers from the bout of bronchitis that forced him out of action. Ticket holders for the Tuesday (3/25) concert as well as the scheduled performances on the 26th, 28th & 29th are being advised that those tickets will be honored at the rescheduled dates. Thoes unable to attend the new dates can obtain refunds at the point of purchase.
