Ian Anderson working on 'folk-metal hybrid'

The fictional character behind Thick As A Brick gets new life for the next Ian Anderson project, which the Jethro Tull flute playing front man describes as a 'folk-metal hybrid.' The album, expected out in April, deals with early historic events in British history and gets into some speculative musings about the future as imagined by Gerald Bostock. Anderson plans to mount a tour that will feature the new work in performances, followed with a selection of Tull classics delivered by what he calls his '...increasingly theatrically-motivated troupe of musical thesbians' accompanied by videos.
