Rod Stewart has been exceptionally busy. In addition to recently announcing plans to extend a Las Vegas residency, the Jeff Beck Group and Faces veteran has announced plans to do tour dates with Steve Winwood, an artist he hasn't shared a stage with since the mid 60's. Prospects for Stewart getting back together with other members of the Faces are more problematic, but Stewart remains hopeful they might find an opportunity to get together. The outlook for him doing something with Jeff Beck the singer calls '...slim and none', telling Billboard that his attempt to work with Beck on a blues based album left the two unable to agree on much of anything and adding that they have had no communication since that project died. Stewart also recently said he'd love to do some concerts together with Elton John.
