Brian Tichy has vacated the drummer spot in Whitsnake.  The Billy Idol, Ozzy Osbourne and Foreigner veteran stick man moves on to a new outfit named Something Unto Nothing (SUN) that includes powerhouse vocalist Sass Jordan, who Tichy backed during her 2004 tour.  There are no hard feelings involved.  Whitesnake front man David Coverdale said, 'We are truly sad to see him go', and added, 'His fearless drumming brought a relentless driving edge to our music that we fully embraced.  Good lick Brian - may the SUN shine brightly on you.'
