A pause to text while walking the family dogs recently cost the wife of Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason her iPhone. Annette Mason lost her phone to a peddle-by thief in the Hempstead Heath neighborhood of NW London.  The Labradors and others in the area were no help as the bicyclist rode off laughing with her hollering 'Knock him off his bike, he's stolen my phone.'  Two-wheeling thieves account for a significant number of the 170 iPhones that are reported stolen on a daily basis in London.  Mason's wife (seen below in a 1984 UK television show), who acts under the stage name Annette Lynton, borrowed the phone of another woman to call her husband, who then notified police of the incident.
