Devon Allman Solo Project

Devon Allman, the son of legendary Allman Brothers Band keyboard player Gregg Allman, will release his first solo album on Feb. 12, 2013. Turquoise will include contributions from two other members of Devon's most recent group, the Royal Southern Brotherhood.  The album features a high energy version of Stop Draggin' My Heart Around, the song Tom Petty and Stevie Nicks recorded together for her 1981 Bella Donna release.  Prior to forming the Brotherhood, Devon had a band that toured and recorded as Honeytribe.  He has played live on occasion with the Gregg Allman Band.

Gregg and Devon's mother split when he was a baby and he did not not meet his father until more than a decade after his birth.
