Aerosmith warmed up hometown fans Monday (11/5) with a free concert outside the Commonwealth Ave. apartment building the band called home during its early days. Arriving in Duckboats for a noon performance delivered from a flatbed on a brisk Boston day, the veteran band drew a crowd of both the hard core and the curious to hear a set of music touching on all eras of the group's 40 years of cranking out tunes.
Also attending were Mayor Tom Menineo and QB Tom Brady and Robert Kraft of the
New England Patriots.
Music From Another Dimension, the first Aerosmith album of new material in several years, gets released the day after the free Boston appearance.
