David Coverdale's role in Deep Purple was celebrated by his own band when Whitesnake released a studio collection in 2015 showcasing a number of his most powerful songs while a member of the Rock Hall Of Fame band.  That was so well received that Coverdale decided to put together a tour featuring those songs as well as Whitesnake material.  On January 19, The Purple Tour (Live) gets released on vinyl/CD and DVD by Rhino Records.

The Purple Tour (Live) includes Coverdale, Reb Beach & Joel Hoekstra (guitars), Michael Devin (bass) Michele Luppi (keyboards) and drummer Tommy Aldridge delivering powerful Whitesnake concert versions of songs from the Deep Purple albums Burn, Stormbringer and Come Taste The Band, along with Whitesnake classics including Here I Go Again, Still Of The Night, Fool For Your Loving and Love Ain't No Stranger.
