The 100th birthday of slide guitar legend Elmore James will be marked with the release of a tribute compilation that includes versions of songs James did performed by Billy Gibbons, Warren Haynes, Rodney Crowell, Keb Mo and several others. All profits from the sale of the January 26 release will benefit MusiCares.
