Connecticut nonprofits reap benefits from Stones guitarist

Keith Richards and his wife plan to auction off furnishings and antiques from their New York City apartment and donate the proceeds to a couple of nonprofit organizations near their Connecticut country estate in Weston. SPHERE and The Prospector Theater provide services and programs for area residents with autism.  Patti Hanson, the Rolling Stones guitarist's wife, has a nephew with autism that has been helped by both organizations.  The June 24 auction by Stair Galleries will include a number of paintings and furnishings from the couple's Upper East Side apartment in Manhattan Hansen collaborated with a designer to decorate and furnish.
