Bret Michaels travels in some interesting circles and the former Poison front man called in some pretty divergent members of those circles to help put together his next album, Bret Michaels & Friends: Get Your Rock On.  Joining Michaels on the project are Jimmy Buffett, Country stars Loretta Lynn and Rascal Flatts, members of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Joe Perry of Aerosmith, former Van Halen bass monster Michael Anthony and KISS veteran Ace Frehley.  Michaels still hopes to get Rick Nielson of Cheap Trick and Zakk Wylde onboard in time to keep a September release date.  The release features updated versions of a number of tunes. including Every Rose Has Its Thorn (with Perry) and Nothin' But a Good Time (with Anthony & Frehley).
