The UK's Royal Mail is adding David Bowie to the other Rock artists it has honored with stamps. It will mark the first time it has devoted a full series to an artist. Six of the stamps commemorate album covers. The other will feature images of Bowie performing. The Royal Mail's Phillip Parker said 'For five decades David Bowie was at the forefront of contemporary culture, and has influenced successive generations of musicians, artists, designers and writers. Royal Mail's stamp issue celebrates this unique figure and some of his many celebrated personas.'
