Brad Whitford will rejoin the Experience Hendrix tour on some dates. That adds the Aerosmith guitarist to a lineup that already features Buddy Guy, Zakk Wylde, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Jonny Lang, Doyle Bramhall II, Dweezil Zappa, Keb Mo' , Beth Hart and others, along with Jimi Hendrix Experience and Band of Gypsys veteran Billy Cox. David Hidalgo and Cesar Rosas of Los Lobos are also being added. The dates Whitford is confirmed for are in Houston, San Antonio and Jackson, Mississippi. Commenting on the opportunity to do some dates on this year's tour Whitford said, 'It's such a wonderful atmosphere. Sometimes we'd get on the bus at night and we're watching old Hendrix videos. It just doesn't stop. It's a great group of people.'
