The city of Los Angeles honored the Doors on the 50th anniversary of the release of the band's debut album.  The ceremony in the Venice area where the group got its start included appearances and remarks from drummer John Densmore and guitarist Robbie Krieger as well as family members of the late Jim Morrison and Ray Manzarek.
