Former Fleetwood Mac Member Dies

Bob Welch, a guitar playing member of Fleetwood Mac in the early 1970's, apparently took his own life in his Nashville home Thursday (6/7).  Police say the 65 year-old Welch, who had been dealing with health issues in recent years, died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest. After parting with Fleetwood Mac in 1974, Welch released some music on his own and with the group Paris.  His best known tunes were Sentimental Lady (1977), which Lindsey Buckingham and Christine McVie contributed background vocals to, and the following year's Ebony Eyes.
