Paris concert hall reopens with Sting concert

The Paris concert venue that was attacked by terrorists on November 13, 2015 reopened with a concert by Sting on Friday (11/12).  The Bataclan is where 90 people in a crowd of around 1500 atending a concert by the American hard Rock band Eagles of Death Metal lost their lives when Islamic terrorsits launched a vicious assault inside the venue.  The Sting performance began with a moment of silence before he and his band performed Fragile, a song that includes the lyric 'Nothing comes from violence and nothing will'. All proceeds from the concert are to be donated to two organizations provided ongoing support to victims of the 2015 attack. The lead singer of Eagles of Death Metal was reportedly denied entrance to the Sting concert.  In the aftermath of the attacks, he expressed the opinion that some employees of the Bataclan had prior knowledge of the attack.
