The studio album U2 planned to release this year, is being pushed into 2017.  The delay to the release of the Irish group's follow-up to Songs Of Innocence is apparently in part due to an over abundance of material.  Speaking with RTE about the next studio album, Adam Clayton projected a March or April release and suggested that as many as 50 songs are under consideration by the band for the studio release.
