Prince William presided over the ceremony knighting Rod Stewart Tuesday (10/11) at Buckingham Palace. Stewart, accompanied by wife Penny Lancaster and two sons, attended the investiture ceremony wearing a Scottish military style jacket and plaid trousers. The recipient of the honor quipped that he promises to 'wear it well' when expressing his appreciation to Queen Elizabeth II for selecting him to receive the medallion. With it, his formal name becomes Sir Roderick David Stewart.
