A planned South American trek involving Gene Simmons of KISS, Def Leppard's Joe Elliot, former Skid Row front man Sebastian Bach, three former Guns N Roses vets, and various current or former members of Collective Soul, Alice In Chains and Black Country Communion has been scrapped.  An official statement issued by the would-be tour participants lays the blame on uncooperative local promoters of shows that would have taken place in Ecuador, Columbia, Costa Rica, Panama and Guatemala.  The lone date that seems to have survived the collapsed tour is scheduled for this weekend in Lima, Peru.
