The Rolling Stones did a number of recording sessions at the Chess Records studios in Chicago the early going. The band even titled AN instrumental with the address of the studio - 2120 South Michigan Avenue. Other tracks recorded at the fabled label's home base include Satisfaction and It's All Over Now. Even though Ron Wood did not become a member of the band until much later, he was also greatly influenced by Chess artists like Chuck Berry, Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker and Willie Dixon.  Woody has now been tapped to help coordinate a Chess Records Bluesfest tribute scheduled for June 30 at the Hammersmith Apollo in the UK.  Wood will also perform at the festival.  Just who he plans to have with him has not been announced, but some of the songs have, including No Particular Place To Go, I'm A Man, I'd Rather Go Blind and Maybellene.
