Rod Stewart & Faces Getting Together

Rod Stewart last performed with his Faces band mates 19 years ago at the Brit awards ceremony.  Attempts in recent years to get him to reunite with his early group have always run into scheduling conflict roadblocks - to the frustration of Ron Wood, Ian McLagan and Kenny Jones, who recruited Mike Hucknall to do lead vocals during the recent Faces tour.  The long lapse between appearances with Rod Stewart out front comes to an end April 14 in Cleveland, where the Faces/Small Faces will be inducted into the Rock Hall Of Fame.  Drummer Kenny Jones hopes the brief appearance for the RHOF will go well enough to lead to a future tour; 'I'd like to think there's more to come, although it depends on how everyone's individual schedules are shaping up.' Stewart is already committed to another series of dates with Stevie Nicks this summer and Wood is expected to tour in 2013 with the StonesMcLagan has been touring with James McMurty's Heartless Bastards and Jones may be in line to return to the road with the Who if Daltrey & Townshend follow through on Quadrophenia tour plans.
