The only lasting impression Tattoo, the new song from Van Halen, seems to have made on former lead singer Sammy Hagar is a negative one. Asked about the advance song from the new Van Halen album A Different Kind Of Truth (2/7), The Red Rocker remarked 'I personally don't think that what they have just released, what I have seen and heard, is that great at all', and goes on to tell Cack Blabbath, 'It should be better than it is... God bless them but I was expecting a lot more.' Hagar, currently on a brief tour of Europe promoting his band Chickenfoot, also promised not to ever perform any of the songs he recorded with VH with his current group.
