Southern Rock and high octane go together like, well,  Southern and Comfort, so it makes perfect sense that Lynyrd Skynyrd has been booked to headline Carb Day, the Friday party leading into the Indianapolis 500.  The May 25 concert will be a no extra charge bonus for fans paying $20 to get-up-close to the machines that will be running in the high speed classic Sunday (5/27).  In addition to a thundering set from Skynyrd, fans will be able to take in the final practice laps from the field of 33 scheduled to duel in the American open wheel classic.
