Tuesday (1/3) came and went without the anticipated announcement of a Van Halen North American tour.  Van Halen News Desk, the source that generated wide spread expectations that at least a partial itinerary would be unveiled on that date (story), had nothing more to offer than the possibility that the tour will open in Lousiville, KY on a date in February.  VH or the site appear to be giving Guns N Roses and Spinal Tap some competition in the least credible category.  VHND is sticking to the contention that the new album will be out Feb. 7.
