We always keep a salt shaker handy when reading accounts in the British tabloids, so a claim by the Daily Express that Pink Floyd will be performing at the London Olympics closing ceremony falls under the conjecture column until a more credible source steps up but since David Gilmour has indicated a willingness to get Floyd back together for the right occasion, we thought it worth putting out there.  The paper's unidentified 'insider' contends that the Olympics meets the standard in the estimation of group members and says, 'It is hoped everything can be confirmed in the coming weeks.'  Paul McCartney is expected to perform at the opening or closing ceremony.  Mick Jagger has dismissed the idea of the Stones participating.
