UK Charity Features Rare One-Off

Fans attending a benefit concert Saturday (12/10) at Canterbury Cathedral got the unique treat of hearing songs performed by a group made up of Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull. Justin Hayward from the Moody Blues and Iron Maiden's Bruce Dickinson.  The Christmas Charity event included renditions of two holiday chestnuts, Revelations and Jerusalem featuring Anderson and DickinsonHayward did Nights In White Satin and Forever Autumn, after which all of them got together for the Tull classic Locomotive Breath.  The Jethro Tull front man has a December 19 holiday gig on his schedule that will unite him and Emerson Lake & Palmer's Greg Lake at Manchester Cathedral.  Anderson will begin a 6 week long European tour performing the 1972 album Thick As A Brick in mid April.
