American artists have grabbed the headliner spot on all three days of the 2012 Isle Of Wight festival.  Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band were first in and will will close the June event. Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers confirmed plans to anchor a day earlier this week and Pearl Jam signed on as a closer for the remaining date. Pearl Jam will open a European tour three nights ahead of the Wight festival appearance with a concert in Manchester June 20.  Only 8 northern European dates have been announced at this point, but more would seem likely given the expense of mounting an overseas tour for a Seattle band.
